In early May, MTRA organized a work bee to replace the rest of the Luzerne Boardwalk section to reopen this section of trail just outside Luzerne trail camp. Many hard working volunteers came together with the USFS and got the project accomplished and had a lot of fun while doing so. 800 planks were removed and replaced, and the boardwalk is once again reopened! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this. Volunteers also started to clear the ice storm damaged trails on either side of Luzerne camp. Please get out there and support our volunteers when you can to help in the many clean ups that will be happening around the state this year.
