Lynda lives in the small town of New Era in Oceana County Michigan and is married to her best friend, Jim. She has three adult sons, one adult step-daughter and seven grandchildren. Lynda works full time as an accountant for a local general construction contractor and graciously stepped up to be the treasurer for the Michigan Horse Trails Association. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and most weekends throughout the summer you can find her at a campground enjoying her horse and friends. Like many of you, she has loved horses since she was a little girl. Her first experiences was riding her neighbor’s horses as a teenager.  As an adult she feels fortunate to own her own farm. In the last few years, she has become passionate about advocating for equestrians and keeping trails open for their use. She is also passionate about roadway safety for equestrians and carriages/buggies. Lynda is excited to serve as the first Treasurer for Michigan Horse Trails Association. She truly believes in the association’s mission and goals and looks forward to serving the members and trail riders of Michigan to the best of her abilities.
