Vice President
As a Michigan native, Jenny is an outdoors enthusiast. She understands and respects every trail user group and recognizes they each have their own goals and priorities. Jenny served for years on the advisory council positions as the Michigan Trails Advisory Council Equestrian Representative (MTAC) and the SW Michigan Equine Trails Subcommittee Representative (ETS) where she represented horses and people with horses to public land managers and all trail user groups. She has always had a passion for horses from volunteering and working at horse barns, to housing her own horses, and being a Property Manager at a private horse ranch. She has camped and competed with her horses throughout Michigan and beyond. She also participated in 4H, Pony Club, endurance rides, fox hunts, leisure, and therapeutic trails rides. Jenny is directly responsible for the Shoreline Horseback Riding Season at Silver Lake State Park each November which makes riders from across our nation and world dreams come true of riding the shoreline by horseback. Recognizing the need to educate the public about horses and the need to increase access for people with horses to public lands, Jenny helped to develop the national Trails Safe Passing Plan (TSPP) Stop! Speak and Stand Back safety action plan, in collaboration with the Roaring Valley Fork Horse Council in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado.
